When I Was Younger, The Worst Thing The Government Did Was 9/11
Look, I’m not here to tell you what to believe. I’m just here to lay out the facts—both the official story and the questions that won’t go away. September 11, 2001, changed everything. We all know that. But what actually happened? And why do so many people still have questions?
Let me walk you through it.
The Official Story
Here’s what the government says happened:
On the morning of September 11, 2001, nineteen men hijacked four commercial airplanes. They crashed two planes into the Twin Towers in New York City. A third plane hit the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. The fourth plane, United Flight 93, crashed in a field in Pennsylvania after passengers fought back.
The attacks killed 2,977 people. Al-Qaeda, led by Osama bin Laden, claimed responsibility. The 9/11 Commission investigated for years and published a full report in 2004. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) studied how the buildings collapsed.
According to official reports:
- The Twin Towers fell because jet fuel weakened the steel beams
- Building 7 collapsed from fire and structural damage caused by debris from the towers
- The Pentagon was hit by American Airlines Flight 77
- The hijackers used box cutters to take control of the planes

The Questions That Won’t Go Away
Now, here’s where things get interesting. Millions of people don’t buy the official story. And some of their questions? They’re hard to ignore.
Building 7: The Tower That Wasn’t Hit
World Trade Center Building 7 was a 47-story skyscraper. No plane hit it. But it collapsed at 5:20 p.m. on September 11—perfectly straight down, in about seven seconds.
The official explanation says office fires caused the collapse. But here’s the thing: no steel-frame building had ever collapsed from fire alone. Not before 9/11. Not since.
Architects and engineers have raised concerns. Over 3,000 of them signed a petition through Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth, saying the collapse looks like controlled demolition.
In 2019, researchers at the University of Alaska Fairbanks published a study that concluded: “Fire did not cause the collapse of WTC 7.”
So what did?
The Pentagon: Where’s the Plane?
American Airlines Flight 77—a Boeing 757—supposedly hit the Pentagon. The problem? The damage doesn’t match the size of the plane.
Researchers point out:
- The hole in the building was much smaller than a 757’s wingspan
- Debris didn’t match what you’d expect from a commercial airliner
- Security camera footage from the Pentagon was never fully released
- Eyewitness accounts conflict—some saw a plane, others describe something smaller
The official story says the plane disintegrated on impact. But critics say the physics don’t add up.
Stock Market Red Flags
In the days before 9/11, someone made huge bets that airline stocks would crash. These are called “put options.” Investigators found unusual trading activity on United Airlines and American Airlines stock—the exact airlines that were hijacked.
The 9/11 Commission looked into it and said there was no evidence of insider trading tied to the attacks. But researchers still question how anyone could’ve predicted those specific airlines would drop so dramatically.
NORAD: Where Was the Military?
The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) is supposed to protect U.S. airspace. On 9/11, hijacked planes flew for over an hour. Fighter jets didn’t intercept them in time.
Some researchers say this proves the military stood down on purpose. Others point to confusion caused by military training exercises happening that same morning. War games simulating hijacked planes created chaos and delayed the response.
Coincidence? Maybe. But it’s a hell of a coincidence.
The Passport That Survived
After the Twin Towers collapsed in a fireball, investigators found one of the hijacker’s passports—intact—on the street below.
The plane was vaporized. The buildings were pulverized. But somehow, a paper passport survived and was discovered within hours.
Even people who believe the official story admit this seems… unlikely.
So What Do You Think?
Look, I don’t have all the answers. Nobody does. Some of these conspiracy theories are wild. Some have real evidence behind them. Some are just questions that deserve answers.
What I do know is this: the official story has holes. And the questions aren’t going away.
Maybe it happened exactly like the government says. Maybe it didn’t. Maybe we’ll never know the full truth.
But here’s the thing—you get to decide what you believe.
Do your own research. Read the official reports. Read the conspiracy research. Look at the evidence. Make up your own mind.
Because if we’ve learned anything in the last twenty years, it’s this: trust, but verify.

Remember: questioning the official story doesn’t make you crazy. It makes you curious. And curiosity is how we find the truth—whatever that truth may be.
