In the grand theater of American politics, the script is divinely inspired and eternally clear: We—the guardians of freedom, democracy, and the American Way—are good. The Enemy—anyone not fully aligned with our manifest destiny—is evil. This is not hyperbole, not rhetoric, not even opinion; it is the self-evident truth etched into the marble of Mount Rushmore and the ink of the Constitution.
Consider the Vietcong: skulking through jungles, rejecting our benevolent offers of liberty, napalm, and Coca-Cola. They were not freedom fighters; they were agents of chaos, hell-bent on denying the Vietnamese the joys of McDonald’s and mutual assured destruction. History’s verdict? Evil. We liberated villages by destroying them—because sometimes goodness requires tough love.
Then the Taliban: medieval throwbacks who spurned our enlightened interventions, preferring caves to capitalism. They harbored terrorists, oppressed women, and worst of all, refused to democratize on our timeline. Evil, through and through. Our drone strikes and nation-building were acts of pure altruism, exporting apple pie one Hellfire missile at a time.
And today? Anyone not on board with our politics—be they isolationists, socialists, or those pesky “allies” who question our tariffs—is similarly tainted. Dissent is not debate; it’s disloyalty. Questioning endless wars? Evil. Preferring diplomacy to dominance? Evil. Suggesting America isn’t always the hero? That’s the devil’s whisper.
This binary is baked into our founding: “You’re either with us or against us,” as a wise Texan once decreed. The Enemy thrives on nuance, ambiguity, and “context”—tools of deception designed to blur the line between red, white, and blue righteousness and their gray-zone wickedness.
We are good because we are America: land of the free, home of the brave, exporter of regime change for the greater good. Our interventions are never imperialism; they’re invitations to the barbecue of liberty. Our surveillance state isn’t Orwellian; it’s protective parenting. Our economic dominance isn’t exploitation; it’s sharing the wealth (mostly ours).
The Enemy is evil because they oppose this. Full stop. No redemption arcs, no “both sides” equivocation. History is written by the winners, and we’ve got the nukes, the Hollywood blockbusters, and the moral high ground.
So stand tall, patriot. Wave the flag. Chant the pledge. The Enemy is out there, plotting against our exceptionalism. But fear not—we are good, they are evil, and freedom always rings louder.
